Grace Creations was founded in 2018. We specialise in hand making bathroom finishes, decorations and other accessoires made out of Corian and Staron. We also manufacture other items like wooden furniture, coffee tables, bedside cupboards and other small items such as chess boards and pen holders. What is Corian/Staron?
Corian® (DuPont) is a solid surface material made of acrylic polymers. Due to the revolutionary features of this material, it is now copied by Samsung and numerous other companies. It is available in different colours, and it is primarily used as a worktop in modern kitchens and commercial workstations where quality and strength are needed with amazing designs. Grace creations is probably the only company in South Africa, that due to the versatility of this material, saw the potential of other uses, due to the hygienic properties of this material. Features of Corian® or Staron (Samsung) is that it is non porous and it is stain and water resistant, durable and tough. It is a renewable material, fire retardant and heat resistant to 140 degrees. It does not fade, even in full sun and it is non toxic, non allergenic and environmental friendly. As a bonus it is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. This is probably the best material to use as a cutting board, as it is soft enough not to blunt the blade of a knife, but strong enough that it won’t leave deep scratches. The most amazing feature is that it can be thermoformed into amazing designs. It is also an ideal material to use for knife handles and also for hand crafted pens.Bathroom Accessory Products
